This book , 2 years back , felt like a god send and showed me what I needed for myself as a partner of an SA for decades and what I needed from my husband . It has taken time for both . Still, if I gave away all the rest of my books , I will always keep this one . Currently it is my guide to formulate what I need in the Disclosure process. I have noticed some CSAT's don't seem to have faith in MM's approach but I trust the man and what he is saying to both the SA and partner. I am so grateful for MM's work in this book as well as the CD set for partners, "I Must Heal". Thank you Milton Magness for the depth of your commitment to the healing of those of us who are dealing with this addiction and the impact on the family.

A seemingly rare & valuable resource for married & committed couples up against the horrors of sex addiction. As the partner of an addict, I will be keeping this one handy.

He is right on about sex addiction. I do wish there were a little more Christ centered content. The end

Good insight into this addiction. Goes along with what other people have said. Was nice to share experiences and stories from families of addicts to know what to expect.

Very useful

this book really helped my Sa partner, and the workbook that goes with it did not overwhelm him- he shared it with all his recovery friends- and worked on it every night- I was so surprised

This book helped me see better my addict self BUT most important helped me really see the trauma I had caused my wife and what I should do to hold her pain. We are both doing well in our individual recovery and healing and our relationship is starting to get much better.

An excellent primer on sex addiction for both the addict and spouse. Written in a very user friendly style. Not much detail on any one topic but a good starting point and a lot of good resources in the appendix!
